Mixed media on hollow core doors

Explores the connection between control and freedom, using a repeated abstract shape, texture, and impenetrable color. Using unconventional pairings of paint, typographical elements, photographic imagery, and surfaces, the work evolves from an extensive organic process involving intuition, found objects, and construction tools. Created for the artist's one man show NARCISSIST at The Bronx Museum of Art, 2005
