GenHouse did not begin with a building. It began with a question.

What does it mean to live well when life is longer than ever before?

Millions of people are entering a stage of life that can span twenty or thirty years longer than previous generations imagined. They are healthier, more experienced, more curious, and eager to continue contributing. Yet the places and communities around them have not evolved at the same pace.

We believe that is one of the great opportunities of our time.

Michael Souter began imagining GenHouse from a personal place. As an artist and brand architect, he has spent his life shaping identities, environments, and experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and connection. Looking ahead, he imagined a community that wouldn't ask people to slow down but would continue to evolve with them.

Heather Mee joined that vision through her lifelong belief in the power of community. As a brand strategist, she has built her career around understanding people, what connects them, what motivates them, and what creates lasting affinity. She saw in GenHouse an opportunity to create a new model for lifelong growth, learning, purpose, and wellbeing. A place that keeps experience in circulation, connects it across generations, and mobilizes it around some of the world's biggest challenges.

Together, we realized the opportunity was much bigger than either of us first imagined.

We are creating a new kind of cultural and community platform for people who believe life continues to expand.

At the heart of GenHouse is the belief that meaningful communities aren't built around age. They grow from shared curiosity, interests, aspirations, and participation in the world around us.

We believe living well is something we practice together. And we believe experience should remain in circulation; because we can be teachers and students, mentors and beginners, throughout our lives.

Most of all, we believe possibility is more powerful than age as an organizing principle.

Our hope is that GenHouse becomes a community where experience remains alive and useful, curiosity never fades, new relationships take shape, and people continue to discover what they might do next.

A place to continue becoming. That is why we are building it.
